Damn the ACER

All this while i had a confrontation with my stupid ass Acer Aspire 4935 lappy which always coz me a problem with charging, battery died and so on.. I can't switch on the laptop without inserting the battery. After replacing new batteries the same symptom still happen. It make me so frustrated when this happen bcoz it make my work diffucult. Also the battery was not charged  and it will suddenly turn off by itself..

After a year looking n digging for solution today only i found out that it was cause by the engineering fault.. What a strong, big n branded company like them also have this kind of product? Don't they  do R&D before they came out with this product? All this while i thought that it is because Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery incompatible with window 7 on Acer. But seems like it's all wrong.


For those hommie that have the same brand, product or problem this is because this fucking stupid thing.. It is called a Media Board.. the function of this board is an additional utilities for the user to adjust the volume control which for me is a redundant from what the system have (by the click of mouse).

To settle all the problem i faced firstly i had to remove quite a number of screws/nuts at the bottom of the lappy including removing the screws under the harddisk and memory card cover and also 4 screws inside the battery compartment. after that i had to dismantle the board and speaker cover before taking out the keyboard. Now then the solution part take place..

When you open take out the keyboard (off course be patient to disconnect the cable which connect the keyboard to mobo) you can see there are 3 connections into Media Board available.. What i do is i just disconnect one of those connection n walla... my battery is charging and after that i can turn on my lappy without inserting my battery.. Which connection that you supposed to disconnect? See the picture below coz a picture described a thousand words..

It is located near to touchpad and a slightly to the right from the keyboard cable connection. If you look at the lappy it is at the lower right portion of your lappy..
